Lessons From Quarantine
I’ve been doing FB Lives every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in my FB Group. I’ve been helping my tribe stay inspired, know what to focus on now, and answer questions to help us all learn valuable lessons during times of uncertainty. The number one comment I’m getting is, “Thanks Monica, I really needed that boost.” It’s hard to stay motivated by yourself. To join us in the Lives – join our FB group here.
On Wednesday, I asked the question –
What is the CoronaVirus Teaching You?
I know for me, it’s teaching me a LOT about staying in the present moment. I could read Eckhart Tolle books for the rest of my life – but this experience of having to trust what is next is teaching more about present moment awareness than anything before.
I’m also learning that I have deep emotions, some that I’ve been stuffing for a long time. And with my travel down to zero – I’m having to really feel them – good, bad and ugly. It’s a good thing – just not always easy.
Here’s some of the posts from the discussion on my FB Live from Wednesday.
So many of us are learning to trust and surrender:
We are also learning to trust ourselves and honor the journey:
It is causing us to go inwards and spend more time with spirit, the Universe and God:
It is reminding us who we are – that we are truly resilient, no matter what hardships come our way:
It is also allowing us to spend time on new skills, and get things done that we haven’t had time for in the past:
Overall – it’s teaching us to be deeply mindful and present. A skill that is best taught when you have to do it:
As we reach week two of quarantine – I know that we are all getting antsy. We want to know what is next. We want things to get back to normal. We want to be able to see our friends in person. Until we can do all of those things, we can ask ourselves this deep and meaningful question – What lessons are the Coronavirus teaching me?
I’d love to hear your responses on this – please leave me a comment below.
And if any of you would like to set up a business pivot session with me to talk about what is next for you – please reach out to us here.
