Why You Need Inspiration in Your Business
As we closed up Money 2.0 this year – I noticed such a shift in energy in the room. It was truly incredible. Women were connecting. Women were getting they could really do this. Women were planning for their success.
I always say that Isolation is the Enemy of Wealth and I find over and over again that we, as entrepreneurs, think we need to do it alone. But the truth is that education, inspiration and community are our life blood. I think Abby Hirsch Philips said it best – Money 2.0 was like a sleep away camp for entrepreneurs!
We really need one another. And the proof is in the pudding. I am thrilled to see all the results that women are having after the event. After all – I’m a results kind of gal. Action. Action. Action. That’s what I like to see with my clients. And it’s the reason they do so well.
Here’s some inspiration for you to stay in action! Real life examples taken from our Money 2.0 site:
One of the things I talked about was how important it is to get your newsletter out without obsessing. Understanding that what’s most important is that people see your name, not that it is a masterpiece. We’re not out to win the Pulitzer – we’re just trying to help people remember us. Kayl Powe May took action on this one – so proud of her!
We also talked about resilience – staying in the game no matter what happens! There is such a reward in being a woman who understands that life will call. Your job is to keep playing your game – no matter what. Corrine experienced food poisoning and still got a new client. Now that’s an example of being unstoppable!
We also discussed sales – the dreaded sales conversation. I shared my six steps to selling. But more importantly I shared that sales is actually a gift that you give to someone who is stuck in the quick sand of struggling. That when you look at it that way. It changes everything. It’s about taking a stand for someone that you care about – even if she is a complete stranger. Kudos to Monica Moody for taking that stand and getting a YES!
I also taught the Money 2.0’ers about who to speak to when it comes to referral partners, organizations and corporations. You want to speak to the person in charge – or at least work your way up there. Vicki Salemi did an excellent job of this at the conference she attended after Money 2.0:
And finally there’s nothing like the peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly what to do next in your business. When you’ve got a plan. Shelly Brockman expresses it well here:
So my shoutout to you – is that if you are alone, stuck or wishing that you could have more in your business. Please leave your home! Join us at one of our events or at a local one in your own community. We need to inspire one another. It’s that inspiration that creates opportunity.
And if you know you need more – please talk to us about The Money Club – our year-long training program where community, guidance and my expertise are helping women to propel their businesses forward at record speed. Just email us at support@revenuebreakthrough.
May this week bring you support and inspiration. Remember – if she can do it – you can do it.
