Finding Tangible Clarity: My Favorite Daily Planning Practice
Last week, I led over 100 entrepreneurs through creating their 90-day plans – and it was amazing. We were working through my 90-day Breakthrough Planner.
One of the things that I suggest – and that I built into the Breakthrough Planner – is to write down your three 90-day goals every single day.
Why? Because writing your goals down every day is a clear way to let the universe know exactly what you want. And the truth is – usually, we’re just not that clear.
Think about an average day. Maybe you’re a coach. You wake up in the morning, and you’re so excited to start your day, excited to work with the 12 amazing clients who are on your schedule today.
Then you get to client number three, and that client is super negative. You find yourself thinking, gosh, I’m so tired of clients. I wish I didn’t have any.
By the afternoon, you’re getting lunch, and you kind of wish you could have a two-hour lunch break. You say to the universe, “I’m so tired. I just wish I had a free afternoon.”
By the evening, your kids are driving you crazy, and you wish that you could just go to sleep, sleep in, and not have any work tomorrow. And you say to the universe, “I just don’t want clients anymore.”
All day long, we’re putting out mixed messages about what we want and how we want to create it. And as long as we’re giving the universe mixed messages, the universe is sending mixed results back to us.
Sometimes we’re successful in getting clients, and sometimes we’re not. Sometimes we feel enthusiastic about our work, and sometimes we just don’t. That’s why writing down your three 90-day goals every single morning is a magical way of telling the universe exactly what you want.
Writing down your goals tells the universe, “I know that I might have complained all day yesterday about having clients, and I know that my thoughts sometimes say otherwise, but I really want seven new clients over the next 90 days.”
In my experience using the Breakthrough Planner – both with my clients and with myself – writing down those 90-day goals every day yields magical results.
So my invitation to you this week is to create your three 90-day goals for this quarter and practice writing them down every day. Get clear about what you want and how you’re going to achieve it.
If you want to learn more about how to create 90-day goals, or if you want a designated space to write them in, I encourage you to check out my Breakthrough Planner.
The Breakthrough Planner is only $32, and buying it gives you access to a Breakthrough Planner Day every single quarter so that you can join us in learning to work with the planner. The planner also comes with a training video that shows you exactly how to use it.
If you’re looking for a little magic in your summer, right here is a great place to start. Take out your plan, and take it up with the universe.
