Why 1:1 Coaching Is Still My #1

I’m tired of coaches demonizing 1:1 coaching.  

The truth is that my clients who have made the most money have worked with me or one of my coaches in a program that included 1:1 coaching.  

You learn best when someone is inside your business with you – someone who understands your lifestyle needs and your money situation. Someone who has heard your dreams and remembers them. 

The problem is that so many business programs promise amazing results without offering any real proximity to their clients. 

Last year, I paid $12,000 for a coaching program only to reach the fourth month and find that the coach didn’t remember my name or my business!  

Honestly – a more generalized program might work for a beginner who needs to focus on absorbing information. But once you’ve started generating consistent $5-$10K months, this type of program simply does not work. 

If you’re an entrepreneur out there trying to build your business with no 1:1 support – I’ll be the first to acknowledge that it’s hard. Harder than it needs to be.  

If you’re a coach who’s been avoiding 1:1 coaching – I want you to really look at your client results. Are people staying? Are they getting the results they wanted? Are you getting upsells and cross sells? Are you building a raving fanbase? 

Perhaps you’re avoiding 1:1 coaching because when you did it in the past, you didn’t hold boundaries.

You over delivered. You exhausted yourself with sessions that were too long. You answered emails that should have been sessions. You undercharged for your time. You allowed the wrong people into your programs and put up with unnecessary abuse.  

You put beginners into programs better suited for more advanced clients. You didn’t include trainings in your programs, so you exhausted yourself saying the same things over and over again.

Trust me, I’ve been there – and I’m here to tell you that there IS a world in which 1:1 coaching is sustainable for both parties. I’ve worked with some of the same clients 1:1 for 5-8+ YEARS. I know their businesses inside and out. I know their fears. 

One of my clients came to me unable to look at her numbers at all – and now, six years later, she just SOLD her company. Another client has gone from $200,000 to nearly $600,000 a year, and she’s still on track to keep growing. 

Another client has worked with me on and off. She comes back every two years to do a private year with me, and every time we meet again she says, “I just don’t get these results from anyone else.” 

No matter how much people say otherwise, 1:1 coaching is still my favorite way to create Breakthrough Results for people – and sleep well at night knowing that my clients are making massive change in the world.
