The Day My Client Made Friends with Numbers (and Why You Should Too)

I want to tell you a quick story about one of my clients, Bonita, who recently dropped this gem in our community:

“I must say that this program gets GOODER AND GOODER!! 😁 Never have I felt so supported and guided! I had no clue how to truly plan before RISE, and I feel so equipped! I am making friends with numbers! 😂 Monica Shah, you really know your clients and have thought of EVERYTHING to serve us! I’m so grateful!!!” – Bonita Owens, member of RISE Business Academy

Now, if you’ve ever stared down a spreadsheet like it personally offended you…

If you’ve ever pushed off planning because mapping out sales projections felt as exciting as licking the bottom of a shoe…🤪

If you’ve ever said, “I’m just not a numbers person”…

I get it. Most of us didn’t start our businesses because we were dying to manage profit margins or analyze conversion rates. We started because we felt called.

Because there was something bigger moving through us – our purpose, our gifts, our voice, and we could no longer stand around and not scratch that itch.

But here’s the thing:

When you’re not friends with your numbers, you’re flying blind.

You’re operating from emotion and intuition alone—what I call emotional business management – which can feel empowering… until it isn’t.

Until you realize you have no idea where your next client is coming from.

Until you’re exhausted from doing “all the things” without knowing what’s actually working.

Until you’ve made decent money but still feel overwhelmed and confused at the end of the month.

That’s where strategic business management comes in.

This is what we teach inside the RISE Business Academy.

It’s not about stripping away your magic.

It’s about anchoring your magic in measurable momentum.

Emotional business management = “I feel like I’m doing great!”

✨ Strategic business management = “I know I’m doing great—and I can prove it.”

And when those two things come together?

That’s when business gets GOODER AND GOODER. 😉

So here’s your invitation this week:

👉 Pick one number to track every day for the next 5 days.

It could be:

✅ How many people visited your sales page

✅ How many people booked a call

✅ How many times you showed up to make an offer

✅ Or how much revenue came in (yes, even if it’s $0!)

The goal isn’t to judge the number—it’s to become friends with it. To make it familiar. Neutral. Informative.

If this brings up resistance, that’s okay.

Most of us weren’t taught to see data as an ally.

But I promise this kind of clarity is what helps you lead your business with confidence instead of guesswork.

And if you want help figuring out which numbers to track or how to actually use them to grow?

Let’s talk.

📩  Click here and say “Let’s make friends with numbers”—I’ll personally walk you through what to focus on based on where you are right now.

You don’t have to run your business on vibes and prayers alone.

You’re ready to rise – with strategy and soul.
