The exact shifts I’m making in my 7-figure business right now

Are you making shifts to change with the times in your business? 

I’ve been getting these calls lately from women who are doing really well in their business.

Like, objectively crushing it. Revenue’s good. Clients are happy. Business is growing.

But then they drop their voice and say something like:

“Monica, is it just me, or does something feel… different?”

And here’s what kills me, they almost apologize for noticing.

Like somehow being aware that the market is shifting makes them ungrateful for their success. (Spoiler: It doesn’t. It makes you smart.)

So let’s talk about what’s actually happening out there.

The market HAS changed and will keep changing. And the smartest thing you can do right now is start paying attention to how.

Here’s what I’m seeing:

Your buyer has a PhD in BS detection Remember when you could just say things like “transform your life” and people would buy? Yeah, those days are gone forever. Today’s buyers want specific results that matter to them (not your interpretation of what they need). And said in a way that shifts the paradigm of the results everyone else is promising. 

They’re buying outcomes, not information. I watched someone recently try to sell a $5K course on “mindset mastery” with zero specifics about what mastery looks like. Crickets. Meanwhile, my client who promises “land 3 speaking gigs in 90 days that convert to $5K+ clients”? Sold out.

Generic messaging is officially dead “Helping women entrepreneurs succeed” is not messaging. It’s word salad. Your people need to read your stuff and think “OMG, is she IN MY HOUSE?” That’s when they buy.

The ‘instant yes’ is becoming extinct. Used to be you could hop on a sales call and close in 20 minutes. Now? Buyers are taking their sweet time. They’re reading every testimonial. They’re stalking your blog, social media posts, and insta posts. 

They want to KNOW you before they invest. Which means you’ve got to take showing up on your chosen platforms seriously – no more posting like crazy for 2 weeks and then let it fly for 4. Also, the messaging you post online must stay consistent with what you are selling. Not just inspirational, I checked the box and posted stuff. 

But here’s the thing—this isn’t bad news.

It’s actually fantastic news if you’re willing to evolve, and do the work. 

Because while everyone else is out here complaining that “people aren’t buying like they used to” (they’re right), you can be quietly adjusting your sails and capturing all that market share they’re leaving on the table.

So what should you actually DO about this?

But honestly? That would be like giving you a Band-Aid for a broken leg.

The market shifts happening right now require more than surface-level tweaks. They require a complete rethinking of how we structure, position, and sell our offers.
