As You Think About 2026, Here’s What Kept Me Sane in 2025

As you look ahead to 2026, I want to take a moment and share something deeply personal with you.

These are the elements that have kept me sane and genuinely happy over the last fifteen years of building a business, but especially in 2025.

Because here is the truth. I have met so many seven figure and multiple seven figure business owners who tell me they are unhappy. Or who tell me their business cost them something precious. Their relationship. Their partnership. Their health. Their time with their kids. Their friendships.

There are sacrifices you make when you build a business. There are seasons when you choose your business while someone else chooses brunch with friends or Netflix with their partner. But I also believe there are very specific practices that allow you to grow your business without losing yourself.

Whether you want to move from generating $50,000 to $100,000, or $100,000 to multiple-six figures, or multiple six figures to seven figures next year.  Or you just want to build more time and energy.

There are ways to preserve the parts of your life that matter most. Your relationships. Your family. Your time for yourself. Your health. Your mental and emotional well being. Your spiritual practice. All of it.

So as we close out this wild, chaotic, beautiful year of 2025, I want to share the top things that kept me grounded and held while running a seven figure business.

1. Somatic dance

Every morning I do a fifteen minute somatic dance practice. Nothing fancy. Just me, 3 songs, and my body. And it has been one of the most important emotional regulators of my entire life.

When I first started three years ago, I cried every single day during the movement or right after. Not because anything terrible was happening. I was actually in a great place. But I realized how many unprocessed emotions were living in my body. Old fear. Old tension. Old sadness. Old desire.

If you do not move these emotions, they sit inside you and pop out at the most inconvenient times. They can block your creativity. Your sales. Your confidence. Your intuition.

When you move them, they become fuel. They become intuition. They become clarity. Somatic dance has been one of the biggest reasons I have stayed emotionally regulated while running a business through this year of chaos. (so much so – that I just became certified as a somatic dance Ishtara teacher, if you’d like to be on the list for my classes, just hit reply and let us know).

2. Spiritual support

This year I started going through the Course in Miracles. And yes, there is some controversy around it. I know. But the way I am doing it has been life changing.

Every morning I listen to the audio version of that day’s course on a Course in Miracles App on my phone. Then I watch Marianne Williamson’s video on that day’s lesson. Together they help me anchor into what the Course calls “vision.” Vision is the ability to see the world through the lens of love. Not romantic, Netflix style love. A much deeper love. A grounded, peaceful, logical understanding that everything is either coming from love or calling for love.

And that perspective changes everything. Your stress response. Your leadership. Your mindset. Your ability to run a business without getting rattled by every twist and turn.

This daily practice has been a lifeline. It has kept me centered in a year when the world has felt like a vibrating snow globe.

3. Hiring my own business coaches

I hired coaches again this year. I always do. And this year I worked with someone who helped me rebuild and expand almost everything in my company. We retired my Get More Clients Intensive after five years. We created Your Next 100K Offer. We updated funnels, rewrote programs, restructured launches.

And every time we launched, the numbers exceeded our expectations by more than fifty percent. Our live events sold out. The energy shifted. The results shifted.

I share this because there is a strange belief out there that once you hit six or seven figures, you should somehow know everything and never need support again.

No thank you.

I have zero interest in doing this alone. If someone has figured something out already, I want them to teach it to me. I do not need to reinvent the wheel. I do not need to struggle my way through something someone else has already mastered.

Hiring coaches has been one of the biggest sources of peace and efficiency in my business for fifteen straight years. And absolutely in 2025.

4. Clear values and priorities

One of the reasons my business is successful without taking over my entire life is that I am very clear on my priorities.

My health first.
My family and relationships second.
My business third.

This means that if my best friend texts me on a Friday afternoon and says “pizza?” and I do not absolutely have to be working, I go out for pizza. And I order the gluten free, dairy free, very specific Monica pizza.

It might look like I am slacking. But I am not. Those moments with friends and family keep me sane. When I go out and laugh and turn off my brain, I come back refreshed and full of ideas. That joy becomes creativity. That rest becomes revenue.

It is a simple formula. Nourish your life. Nourish your business.

I could give you five more things that were pillars for me this year. But these four have been the most consistent and the most transformative.

So as you prepare for 2026, I want to invite you to take any of these and try them. Add one. Add all of them. Customize them. Play with them. Let them support you the way they have supported me.

And when you try them, message me. I want to hear everything.

I’m sending you so much love as we move into this next season of growth together.
