How to Tell If You’re Bored, Burned Out, or Just Plain Disappointed With Your Offer

Let’s play a game. It’s called: “Am I bored with my offer … or just slowly descending into existential dread because my launch didn’t go the way I planned?”

Fun, right?

Last week I launched my program Your Next $100K Offer, and in the conversations I had with the amazing women who joined, a pattern emerged.

They were over it.

Not over their businesses, not over helping people… but over their current offers.

Some called it boredom.

But when I listened closely, I realized there were actually three distinct flavors of “meh” going on: Boredom. Burnout. And Disappointment.

Let’s break ‘em down, because knowing which one you’re in? Changes everything.

1. Boredom: Your Program Feels Like Leftovers

Here’s how you know it’s boredom:

You close a sale and instead of happy-dancing around the kitchen, you’re like… “Oh. Cool. That’s nice.” (Cue deadpan face and half-hearted nod.)

You still get your clients results. You still show up like a pro. But something’s missing. You’re not excited. And if you’re honest?

You haven’t been for a while.

Here’s why this might be happening:

You’ve changed. But your offer hasn’t.

Maybe you’ve gotten a new certification. Or you’ve outgrown the version of yourself who created that program in the first place.

Maybe you’re just wiser, deeper, more aligned. (Also known as: more “I will not tolerate this anymore” energy.)

And your offer? It still fits the old you, like a pair of skinny jeans from 2010 (ahhh, yes, remember skinny jeans?).

Case in point:

One of my clients (who’s a total rockstar, by the way) is 72 years old. She has a new granddaughter. She’s traveling. She’s thinking deeply about legacy and joy.

But her program? Still teaching hustle and grind.

No wonder she was bored.

So we reimagined her offer. We tweaked her offer to be around rest, luxury and travel. We created a paradigm-shifting problem, name and method (which I cannot reveal at this moment). And just like that, her excitement came back. Her clients leaned in. And everything clicked.

👉 So if you’re bored, ask: Am I really inside this offer? Or am I just phoning it in because it used to work?

2. Disappointment: “Why isn’t this working?”

This one’s tricky, because you love your offer.

It still feels aligned. You still believe in it.

But…

You’re disappointed that more people aren’t saying yes. That your numbers are lower than expected. That more of your sales calls than you’d like end in, “Let me think about it…”

That’s not a program problem. It’s a positioning problem.

It means it’s time to zoom out and ask:

  • Am I speaking to the right people?

  • Is my message clear and compelling?

  • Am I solving the real problem they wake up worried about?

You don’t have to throw the whole thing away—you just need to reposition it so it lands with the right people in the right way (and btw, this is exactly the stuff we work on in the Your Next 100K Offer Intensive).

3. Burnout: Everything Feels Like Too Much

If you’re so exhausted that even reading this email feels like climbing Mount Everest, then you’re in burnout, my friend.

This isn’t about your offer at all.

This is about the fact that your whole business model might be demanding more from you than you have to give right now. Which means it’s time for a RESET.

If you’re in burnout, it’s time to pause, reflect, and reset your business model so that it works with your energy, not against it.

Life changes all the time, and you must change your business model with it. When my Dad was in hospice from Jan-March (he’s now in palliative care 😌)—I could not manage doing a 3-day event. So I switched business models to one that allowed me to do programs and launches that didn’t involve as much of my time.

And that’s the key—having flexibility to reset your model when life changes so that you can either heal your burnout or prevent it all together. I work on resetting business models all the time with my clients who are in my 7-Figure Blueprint program
