Isolation is the Enemy of Wealth
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times.
Yet, over and over again I see entrepreneurs staying at home alone and trying to grow their businesses, without mentorship and community. It’s the number one thing I noticed at the Breakthrough Business Bootcamp – people really connecting with one another. There were smiles ear to ear. Enthusiasm was at its peak.
A-Has and inspiration were everywhere. People were really getting it – business doesn’t have to be hard – as long as you learn how to do it in the right order.
And the momentum that carries forward even when you arrive home. Check this out:
Heidi Seifert told us “Oh and I don’t know why but as soon as I got home I signed up 5 new clients. I guess the stars were aligned!”
Pam Etzin said, “Ok, so back in my office after BBB, 1 sales conversation done, got a yes and asked for the $$ up front. Next!”
It’s not about the stars. It’s not a coincidence. We get emails and posts like this after every event we do.
When we come together as a community – we literally shift our vibration level. We realize that we can do more, be more and have more. More than we ever thought possible. And then the universe literally moves itself to make our thoughts real.
Yes, we must take action. But that even gets easier too. When you see other people taking action – it becomes much easier to emulate. And when you hear a mentor break down an action and make it simple – everything becomes do-able. That’s what happened at the Bootcamp.
People were able to build their business models. They organized their annual projections. They created new revenue streams. The content was deep, and it required active thinking and decisions.
And I watched as light bulb after light bulb went off in the room.
If you are reading this now and are not part of a community and mentorship – please find one. The list of things that we must do alone as entrepreneurs is a million items long.
Don’t make it longer for yourself. Adding self-motivation, self-inspiration, self-soothing to the list isn’t fun or easy.
Put yourself out there – whether it’s a business event, a networking community or a party – CONNECT. Not virtually, actually in person – eyeball to eyeball.
We all have a basic need to belong. And as an entrepreneur, you need it more than ever.
Here’s to getting out of isolation! Here’s to coming together to make the whole world a better, happier place.
And thanks to those of you that joined me at the Breakthrough Business Bootcamp. I am ever so grateful to have you as a part of my entrepreneurial family.
