It’s OK to Cry While We Move Forward

To my fellow empaths, intuitives and deep feelers,

This time is not easy.

Around 400 people died of COVID yesterday in New York (the good news is that number is going down).

Even as we come out of the worst of it, the energy of the monumental shifts that are taking place on the planet are hard to ignore.

As an empath, it’s hard for me to read the news, yet I do in order to keep up with the world, my clients and my business (and because it’s my responsibility to know and to help).

I know you are struggling with this too, my fellow empaths, mission drivers, intuitives and sensitive souls.

I want you to know that it’s totally normal to have random fits of tears.

To have sadness when you look outside to empty streets.

To feel the disappointment of missing a friend’s wedding, a trip or a graduation.

To deeply miss hugging your friends and family.

And then to experience moments of hope and connecting in with spirit – the feeling of knowing there is a bigger picture to all of this. Even when we can’t see it.

I don’t have an answer to the deep emotions we are feeling.

But I do want you to know that you aren’t alone.

I cry way more often these days. Feeling the feels.

Yet, I want to encourage you to keep changing. Keep growing. Keep noticing the breakthroughs as they happen moment to moment. Keep taking action.

Because as small business owners we must carry on. We must march forward. Because we still serve so many. And we still have to pay the bills. And there are people depending on us.

This is a tribute to you during this time. For feeling it all and taking action anyways.

For being the shoulders that so many cry on – and still creating new ideas to put into the world.

I salute you fellow entrepreneurs. We’re in this together. And we will continue to take action together – one day at a time.

Love to you.

Monica
