The Prince Syndrome
Do you have “Waiting for the Prince Syndrome?”
With Master Your Money coming up so quickly – May 20-22nd! – I’ve got MONEY on the brain. And so does everyone else. I’ve done 6 sales conversations in the past week, and the root of so many problems is people’s relationships with money.
The truth is that we were never taught about money. We just saw everything around us and took it in as money beliefs. And today – we can just follow that OLD conditioning if we aren’t careful.
But we do have a different choice. We can look at our experiences and begin to act differently. That’s what the Master Your Money Event is all about.
Take my client Sarah, for example.
When Sarah came to me, she had a total block around asking for money. She was 38 years old, single and ran her graphic design business like a hobby – sometimes even forgetting to send invoices out. The lack of money in her bank account was scary sometimes.
When I asked Sarah why she was waiting to build her skill sets around sales, she said, “I guess I never thought I’d do this. Make money on my own. Pay for everything on my own. Have to run a business. I always thought I’d have someone that would come and make it all better.”
This is what I call “Waiting for the Prince Syndrome.” And as women, we don’t even realize we have it sometimes.
It can even pop up if you are in a relationship and your partner loses his/her job. Suddenly you are the primary breadwinner and that goes against all that you were taught about being saved.
Sarah and I worked together to change her beliefs so she could be her own savior. And she was able to generate $50,000 in 3 months as soon as she started trusting herself. She became her own prince.

Little by little, with each monetary success that you create, you’ll start to believe in yourself and see your own power.
It will become clear that even when your prince/princess shows up, the two of you can share the money power equally.
