Three Words that Make a MAJOR Impact on Your Day
Are you coasting through each day — OK, maybe not coasting, but getting to the end of each day and wondering, “Where the heck did that time go? And how did I not get the most important things done?”
Well, first, be easy on yourself — now is a CRAZY time and focus is at an all time low.
But there is something that I use every day that makes this easier — My Breakthrough Planner.
Now, please know that I’m not attached to you getting my planner — but I am attached to you using a planner of some sort — even a notebook will work.
Because without some sort of plan each day and reflection at the end of the day — it’s hard to know what you actually got done and what you are learning from each day.
I believe there are 3 real items that create success:
- Intention — creating intentions at the start of each day, week, month and quarter.
- Action — boldly moving towards your goals each day.
- Reflection — evaluating what worked and didn’t work EVERY DAY and making changes for the next day.
Most people do number one and two relatively well. Where they fail is in number 3 — Reflection.
We aren’t using the opportunity to spend some time each day reflecting on what worked and didn’t work that day — and making the next day DIFFERENT.
Most just spend each night criticizing themselves, complaining that there isn’t enough time and then habitually falling into the same patterns day after day.
Now we are delving into intention, action and reflection more at the Bold Visibility Bootcamp.
But in the meantime — here’s where you can start.
Here are 3 questions to ask yourself at the end of each day:
- What were 3 successes from today?
- What am I avoiding?
- What did I learn today (both good and not-so-good)?
These questions are in the daily reflection section of my 90-day planner.
Or you can write them in a notebook — either way is good! Just grab yourself a planner, notebook or whatever and start intending, acting and reflecting.
Oh, and know this — if action is one of your things you need to do more of — join me at the Bold Visibility Bootcamp.
Sending you tons of planning love, Monica
